water damage

I'm new here but I've got a problem I could use some help with. I have a 79 Minnie Winnie--gotta love the name--with water damage in the rght rear corner. Underneath the sheet metal it is completely rotted out. It looks like it was plywood and foam construction (can that be for real?) and I'd like to reinforce it without pulling it copletely apart. Suggestions? Experience?
